Hi, or should it be  -  ho ho ho!

We are very pleased to report that folk music in Derby has gone from strength to strength with a great 2011 festival and such memorable concerts, like Bellowhead, who we have already booked for 24 November 2012 - and it's all down to your support!  Thank you.

Our first concert in the New Year takes place on Sunday 15 January starting at 6pm 'til 9pm with the DERBYSHIRE VOLUNTEERS' TRADITIONAL MID-WINTER REVELS in the Assembly Rooms - Great Hall, Derby.  There will be some performances by members of the Volunteers, a song spot from LUCY WARD accompanied by Belinda O'Hooley & Heidi Tidow, then the big ceilidh. The charity to benefit from this year's ceilidh is "Water Aid".  It’ll be a great get-together, with entertaining songs and plenty of dancing, or watching, so please tell your friends and we look forward to meeting up with you there.

At the moment we have 4 gigs booked for 2012, which are all on the website, with quite a few more in the pipeline.  Do remember to keep in touch with this PR website for all the latest updates.

The line-up for the Derby Folk Festival 5 - 6 - 7 October is also looking good with performances by Seth Lakeman, Peatbog Faeries, Mabon, Martin Simpson, Pilgrims Way, CBS, Elbow Jane and Bob Fox to name but a few!

Elbow Jane will be playing LIVE on BBC Radio 2’s Good Morning Sunday with Aled Jones some time between 7am and 9am on Christmas Day.  We know several "woman" who will be tuning in that morning, whilst unwrapping presents!!!

If you are planning to go and see WarHorse at the New London Theatre, Drury Lane, in the New Year, then you’ll be delighted to know that Bob Fox is now the music man in this amazing must-see stage production, so that's more reason for you to go!

WarHorse the film has its première at the Quad, Market Place, Derby, on Friday 13 Jan;  hopefully John Tams will be giving an introduction at the evening showings.  There are loads of times to see the film, and the run ends on 2 Feb. If Derby is too far away from where you live, then it will be showing at a cinema near you.

ALL tickets are available from us by email on the Contact Us tab, or phone us on PR Ticket Hotline 01773 853428.  Payments are by cheque only.  Make cheque payable to PR Promotions, and send it to PR Promotions, PO Box 200, Belper, Derbys DE56 2ZL.  Easy!  Remember when you order your tickets from us that you collect your tickets from us on the night on the door.  The PR Desk will always be just inside the venue foyer.
